GIPS UBA Har Ghar Jal Field Survey Initiative

The UBA Club of GIPS successfully conducted a field survey under the “Har Ghar Jal Yojana” in Village Imalyaka, Uttar Pradesh, with the aim of fostering experiential learning and community engagement among students.

The initiative was designed to provide students with firsthand exposure to rural conditions by evaluating water accessibility, levels of public awareness, and the on-ground implementation of government schemes. Through direct interaction with villagers, students gathered meaningful insights into daily water usage, existing challenges, and the reach and effectiveness of welfare initiatives.

The activity also sensitized students to the importance of sustainable water management, sanitation, and holistic rural development. It served as a valuable platform for bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.

Overall, the survey emerged as an enriching and impactful learning experience, strengthening community connect while encouraging students to become socially responsible and development-oriented individuals.
