GIMSAR Students Certified in Comprehensive BLS Training

Basic Life Support, or BLS, generally refers to a level of medical care which can be provided by trained medical personnel, including emergency medical technicians, paramedics, and by qualified bystanders for victims of life-threatening illnesses or injuries until they can be given full medical care at a hospital. The students of GIMSAR have participated in BLS training  at TNAI ,( Trained Nurses Association of India) Greater Noida  which was held on *17th Dec to 19th Dec 2024 which was trained by the experts of TNAI.*Basic Life Support from 8.30 am to 
4.30 pm. *Around 37 
students from B.sc (N) 2nd year* in three batches  actively participated and updated their knowledge on Pediatric/ adult BLS, 
with appropriate hands on skills.The  theoretical and practical evaluatory sessions were held for the students  and all 37 students had  successfully completed the *BLS course and passed the courseAll the students have got their certificates awarded by TNAI. The students assured that they shall utilize the skill gained whenever and wherever needed in the clinical setting and they also addressed that the training was highly beneficial, great learning experience for the students and it is one of the basic aspects in the emergency health care situation.
